#EntertainmentNews: Family of Bob Marley Wins The Image Case In Nevada Court

Bob Marley, the actor

Bob Marley's family has got a positive ruling by the federal jury against a Nevada-based company, which was previously accused marketing the clothing which featured the icon's image. According to the report of Las Vegas Review-Journal, it was this Friday that jurors made the final decision of not ruling in favor of AVELA and its owner Leo Valencia. Which in turned was fined to pay $300,000 in damages to Marley's family owned company.

Still it is assumed that U.S. District Judge Philip Pro will grant even more damages which were caused by AVELA after determining the amount of profit which was lost due to the unfair competition to the victim’s family.
One lawyer disclosed to the jury in Las Vegas that Bob Marley's family is not really willing to see the legendary artist to be shown as a bobblehead or a plush toy. Bob Marley passed away as a legend while he was only 36 in the year 1981.
