#EntertainmentNews: 30,000 unique crystals to shine on the stage these years Golden Globe Ceremony: says the production company


The well known ceremony of Golden Globes ceremony is promised to be much glitterier this year, than ever before.
Even more than the traditional lighting up of the stars the room, this time the set has been changed and relocated to be the Beverly Hilton Hotel's International Ballroom which is going to shine with 30,000 Swarovski crystals. This announcement has been made by the Dick Clark Productions, who are responsible for the production of this years Globes ceremony, they claim that around 3,000 pounds of crystals have already been flown in from Austria for this Sunday's ceremony.

According to the Production designer of the company, Brian Stonestreet this unique crystal-cored set design was an inspiration gathered from the ballroom's signature chandeliers, he also took the liberty of stating beforehand that the sparklers will not only be restricted to the stage only but the entire ballroom. He stated that these crystal creations will be hanged overhead as well which is aimed to adopt "a 360-degree experience," adding that the "the room is actually the set, which is perfect for this show."
The 68th annual Golden Globe Awards will be presented Sunday and broadcast live on NBC.
