#EntertainmentNews: Teena Marie Dies at the Age Of 54

Teena Marie, renowned songwriter plus R&B singer, hugely popular in 1980s for epic singles like "Love rgirl" and "Ooo La La La," just passed away while in her Los Angeles home this Sunday. The cause of death of the 54-year-old artist is surprisingly not disclosed yet. Although according to the twitter feed of her friend, Sheila E, Teena Marie had had history of seizures before as well.

Teena Marie, whose real name was Mary Brockert, signed her first albums deal with Motown Records in 1975 followed by the release around four years later.  Her hardwork resulted in almost a total successful release of 13 albums up till end of 2009, when her last album title "Conga Square," hit the stores paying tributes to jazz influences like Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday.
Clearly the couple of best albums of her life long career, namely 1981's "It Must Be Magic" and 1984's "Starchild," were also awarded gold for U.S. shipments, which is won if the shipments g in excess of 500,000 units, by the Recording Industry Association of America. The legacy of the Legend, Teena Marie, is now survived in her daughter, Alia Rose.
