Among the list of newest disappointments for the new and motivated production of Broadway "Spider-Man," was one of their lead actresses who did not only first suffered a concussion in between their first preview performance of the show but later her decision to actually quit the show afterwards was a great setback.

Natalie Mendoza, is the actress playing the character of villainess Arachne in the play, which has a major role as she is considered the second lead female role subsequent to Spider-Man's own girlfriend. She has surprised everyone with her decision and is now lately putting efforts to work out any kind of an exit agreement for the leftover past several days. The authenticity of the particular rumor was later confirmed by a publication in The New York Times in their report of this Tuesday, so there remains no point of ambiguity in the matter there forward.
Among the four actors and actresses who have suffered severe injuries in this $65 million production was Mendoza. This project does not only involve very hi-tech stunts but also several actual flying sequences as well. Mendoza later recovered and returned her part in the performance but later again took few weeks off. The production is still in previews, allowing producers to warn the audience it is not seeing a finished product. Its current official opening is scheduled for February 7.
