Viruses Arise At Facebook - As An App Claims To Show Your Profile Viewers!

Sophos, a renounced internet security specialist released a warning regarding a Facebook the vastly spreading scam currently still being spread across the ever-growing Facebook users. The viruses on Facebook, are not so acknowledge than usual, besides one questions "Who actually falls for these scams on Facebook?", but the numbers of people who fell for such scam spread through viruses, prove that quite a few people do fall for such scams, which included around 60,000 people to be precise as well.

The scam is received through a post on your wall, from any of your facebook friends, who have themselves been a victim, which reads: "OMG OMG OMG... I can’t believe this actually works! Now you really can see who viewed your profile!" Which is undoubtedly false, and is accompanied by a link at the end of the sentence, which directly leads to an app, where once you allow the access, it leads you being exposed to the virus which is able to crawl up all your profile data. Eventually leading to you yourself also inadvertently spamming up your friend's walls with the same "OMG" message.
"Scams like this have been used to earn commission for the mischief makers behind them, who have no qualms about using your Facebook profile to spread their spammy links even further", said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos.
