New Redesigned Android Market to Be Rolled Out Soon

There is good news for all the users of any Android-driven devices out there. There is soon to be a launch of an entirely refurbished Android Market that will now deliver even more slick and sophisticated results and several more ways to discover and purchase apps in this new store will be revealed. This newly designed Android Marked is expected to roll out within the next two weeks and will thankfully work for all the devices running Android at least 1.6 or higher.

The very first prominent change a user might notice will be the new carousel interface of the home screen as well as the category screens. The new design will show several featured apps which you can easily quick-flip through and download. Finally, after the entire long awaited discovery feature is all also added, which will be showing a short listing of some related apps for each application’s details page, making it easier to shop and find apps which are recommended for a particular user. Moreover, this new market will also bring two brand new categories to the store, namely Widgets and Live Wallpapers, while we look forward for some other categories soon coming for maybe popular apps and games as well.
On the other hand, another noteworthy change will be the return-for-refund window for each app. As currently, any user had a wide 24 hours gap after their purchase of any app and when they could maybe return the app and get a complete and unconditional refund. With this newly furbished Market update, that time window will be dramatically be reduced to only 15 minutes for each app.
Users have been waiting desperately for an improved Android Market for quite some time now, especially the feature displaying related apps, is very much looked forward to by all users.
