It was just weeks ago, KFC had offered $20,000 for the "best tweet,” open for anyone at all, made in a professional effort to encourage sales and enlarger their marketing technique to target more on younger generation. The contest began 11.17.10, and ended on November 26.
At the end, KFC Foundation awarded, Amanda Russell as much as $20K to haven was done the best tweet 'Best Tweet' to Long Beach, California. Who knew this teen just won a $20,000 scholarship, that also just for a tweet! Wondering what actually were the magical 140 words of the Amanda Russell to be the 'best tweet'?

She wrote, "Hey Colonel! Your scholarship's the secret ingredient missing from my recipe for success! Got the grades, drive, just need cash!"
Russell has a unique story as she just opened a Twitter account exclusively to applying at the scholarship, as she first got to know about it at the website of KFC. Although he or she must be using the tag #KFCScholar, reports USA Today. KFC had put up this contest for all college hopefuls to tweet why they exemplify Colonel Sanders' commitment to education and enrich their communities, and also add the reason why do they are worthy of the college scholarship than the other person.
The winner was selected on the basis of judging almost around 40% on creativity, 30% need and 30% drive, stated the KFC spokeswoman Laurie Schalow.
