Apple Releases the Next Update of iOS Version 4.3.1 Addressing Several Issues with Its Devices


Apple has updated their iOS with the latest release of version 4.3.1, making it the latest update for its most popular mobile operating system. This update is promised to have solved handful of bugs and along with several security patches for all iOS devices.
The highlight of the update is two bugs fixed which addresses the graphic related issues. First of all, it has fixed the occasional glitch which issue was only observed in the iPod touch 4G and secondly the flickering issues which were very much complained to be observed when any device was connected to Apple Digital AV Adapter for televisions. Thirdly, the issue with the authentication of few enterprise Web services has also been taken care of along with several other issues which were raised when the devices were firstly activated or connected to any cellular networks for the first time.

Nokia Brings More Investment to the Region Including Pakistan


Stephen Elop, C.E.O of Nokia spoke recently to the media in Dubai while he was on his visit to the region, he said that “Nokia Ovi store for Pakistan is a good example of working with local support.”

Asustek, A Taiwanese Company Launches Android-Powered Tablet


A Taiwanese company AsusTek Computer Inc., has revealed their own designed smart tablet computer just this Friday, very close the launch of Apple's hit iPad which has according to them dump the market of their previously very popular mini-laptops.
AsusTek has claimed that their new EEE Pad Transformer, supported on Android 3.0 is very much better than Apple’s iPad in many ways; it has a detachable keyboard; better docking; lighter and more flexible. With a screen size of 10.1” comes along the double camera; front and rear. The detachable keyboard is really the selling point of the company as they advertise that users can keep it handy for Web browsing and watching movies and stuff as well as making the device a full-fledged laptop for intense use too.

International Trade Commission Judge Rules In Favor Of Apple in the Nokia Patent Dispute


A US International Trade Commission judge has decided in favor Apple in a patent dispute filed by the Finland's Nokia Company for their iPhone, iPod and Mac computers. Judge James Gildea rejected the allegation made by the Finland’s Nokia Company that Apple is in complete violation of five patents held by the company.
There was no particular in detail or justification provided by the judge as it is not necessary for him to explain his decision. Now conventionally a commission comprising of total 6 members will be set for the next 60 days for reviewing his determination.
The International Trade Commission has complete rights for imposing import bars for any import in the entire United States of any product which is found to be infringing on licensed patents. Just in this manner, Nokia was attempting to have all major Apple products to be barred for imports in Pakistan.
