The network made the official announcement on this Thursday afternoon stating that Spencer is decided to be the new "lifestyle anchor" on their show, which is titled as "Good Morning America."

According to the President of ABC News himself, he says that Spencer is told to be concentrating most on the topics related to family and physical fitness, whereas she will be expected to also carry forward the aspects of entertainment and celebrity gossips. He also added that Spencer will be appearing on few other ABC News broadcasts, like "Nightline" as well.
