Facebook Display Pictures Change Into Cartoon Characters from Childhood, Why No Face on Facebook?

If you see different popular cartoon characters from the animated world taking over your Facebook homepage lately, there is no need to wonder why. Similar to the previous celebrity doppelganger craze, this time the users of this gigantic social networking site are changing their profile pictures, which is suppose to be their recognizable picture, with images from their childhood of the cartoon characters they liked the most.
The trend-tracking website, Know Your Meme, stated that this trend of changing your display picture to a cartoon character was originated by the Facebook users in Greece and Cyprus in mid-November. The trend-tracking website claims that the first original message which was spread in Greek, which if translated, meant: "From the 16th to the 20th of November, we shall change our profile pictures to our favorite cartoon characters. The purpose of this game is to remove all photos of human for a few days from Facebook." The message was spread so quickly and was adopted on such a large scale that it did not remain a Greek message anymore.

Steve Jobs And Ruport Murdoch’s 'The Daily,’ An Exclusive iPad Digital Newspaper Might Be Delayed Until 2011?

As announced earlier, the exclusive iPad-only newspaper, The Daily, an initiative collaborative taken by Apple and News Corp together, might have to be delayed until the new year. It has been disclosed that The Daily, the digital newspaper will be updated three times a day and available for any user in exchange for the cost of (60 pence) per week.
Allegedly Apple's own CEO, Steve Jobs, is very much drawn in to this new project of ‘The Daily,’ which is suspected to have its own separate editorial board, rather than having to aggregate any news content from the other News Corp publications at anywhere.

Rumors of iPad 2.0 Swirl In From Everywhere

A Taiwanese newspaper claims that the new device, Apple iPad 2.0 will be released in early 2011, disclosing the details, they stated that the new device is expected to have whole new video calling feature with two cameras, new display and touch technology, with a USB port for making the device more easy-to-connect with other device.
On the other hand, the Chinese-language Economic Daily News, a financial newspaper truly acknowledged to acceptably report that Apple was making actually tablet instead of a netbook as everyone else at that time wrongly assumed so. Economic Daily published in their Friday’s edition that that the new iPad 2 is going into production this month and be most probably on sale anytime next year.

Right after the latest scandal of Pirate Bay, another torrent searching website, Torrent-Finder.com was recently shut down today. This shut down, yet again, that like the work of the similar government agencies; however, this time they did not disclose the reason of this shut down. However, most likely people have already assumed that this site was also taken down on the allegations of, yet another, intellectual property theft concerns majorly including claiming to different copyright infringement and maybe trafficking in counterfeit goods as well.

Amnesty Intl. Appeals To The Egyption Government To Stop Facebook Trials!

This Friday, Amnesty International, a human rights group pleaded the Egypt authorities to give up the on-going trial of an ordinary Facebook user, who has been accused for publically writing on about Egypt's military on the website without any prior permission. 30 years old Ahmed Hassan Bassyouni, just set up a group on the social network about carrying out military service and was answering questions about the military and for this crime; he has been sentenced up to five years in prison, which according to the Amnesty International is very severe.
