Get Rewarded For Pointing Out Google’s Flaws!

Google now announced to give rewards to any of its users who can find and efficiently report flaws in the security of its software’s and website etc. This technique was first initiated by Mozilla, and has now defiantly been proven inspirable.

These rewards might range from at least $500 to a maximum of $3100, depending solely on how critical the flaw is. More interestingly, if you decide to give the prize to charity, Google will double the donation.  The bugs can be found on Google, YouTube, Blogger, Orkut and others. Android and Picasa are exempt.

"We are announcing an experimental new vulnerability reward program that applies to Google Web properties. As well as enabling us to thank regular contributors in a new way, we hope our new program will attract new researchers and the types of reports that help make our users safer," announced Google today!

Well-heartedly, it was also said in the announcement, that anyone who, finds and successfully reports a correct justified problem and gets paid for the new program, will also have their name featured on the credits page of the site that he reported. Making the challenge more interesting, Google referred the program of the similar nature, which it started in January for its Chrome browser, as they say "uncovered a wide range of great bugs...contributing to a more secure Chromium browser for millions of users."
